Singapore Sister Island Trip 2011 - New Year Camping

First Meetup.com trip with Kayak Kakis group. We will go to Sister Island (Subar Laut Island) in Singapore. We need to charter a boat to ferry us there. Sister island is a uninhabited island, without electricity and only with a toilet.

The Sisters' Islands are two of the Southern Islands in Singapore and are located to the south of the main island of Singapore, off the Straits of Singapore. Big Sister's Island, about 39,000 square metres (9.6 acres) in area and also known as Pulau Subar Laut in Malay, faces the open sea, while Little Sister's Island, about 17,000 m² (4.2 acres) in area and also known as Pulau Subar Darat in Malay, faces the mainland. After dark, we wait for new year countdown. We also watching new year firework from another angle of location. Really a special night when countdown on a island without electricity and uninhabited.

Singapore Kranji 2011 - Day trip to Singapore last countryside

Today we will visit Singapore last countryside, Kranji Countryside. Got express bus from Kranji MRT station into Kranji countryside - Timetable.

We have our breakfast at Ivy Bistro. Yummy, Nasi lemak.

After breakfast, we will visit Bollywood farm.

After that, we visit Hay Dairies farm. We need to plan to schedule for the Kranji express bus. Distance between farm is not a short walking distance.

After that we go to Jurong Frog Farm. 

Jump here and there....

Just 3 farm visit, we already very tired. So our last farm will be the frog farm. We take the Kranji express bus back to Kranji MRT.
